Senior Geologist - Hong Kong

Job Description

Our client is one of the Asian mining market’s leading consultants.

They provide high level strategic advice to mining companies in locations such as China, Russia, Indonesia and Argentina.

Due to a solid forward work-load and a desire to expand their 30 strong team, they are currently seeking a Geologist to join them on a contract (2 year minimum) or permanent basis and be located in their Hong Kong head office.

This role will see the successful applicant becoming involved in the following areas;

• Identifying potential exploration targets
• Designing exploration programs
• Managing exploration data
• Preparing geological models (knowledge of SURPAC and/or MAPGIS required)
• Conducting Resource Evaluation Studies
• Conducting feasibility studies

This is a unique opportunity for a geologist/resource estimation geologist with 5+ years experience to join a key player in the Asian market.
