Role:
The successful candidate will be placed on either the Technical or Commercial desk dependent on suitability and will be trained in the principles of headhunting within the Oil and Gas sector.
Job Overview: An exciting time to join an independent exploration and production (E&P) oil & gas company, focused predominately on exploration and production within the UK Continental Shelf, and going through a pivotal transition phase to become a fully fledged operator. Applicants are invited with some experience in handling production data and a keen desire to take on a wide range of support tasks working for a growing oil Company.
The Company is building a diverse and balanced portfolio of assets within the UK Northern North Sea (NNS) and the Central North Sea. They operate many of their exploration assets and with a recent discovery in the NNS, hope to start production as an operator in the near future. As a non-operator, they have accomplished their first production in April 2009, followed by their second in August 2009 and are actively pursuing other exploration and production opportunities over the next few years.
With some experience of handling production data, you will support many of the activities of the Operations Department. For example, the Company does not at present have a full time HSE Specialist (use a HSE consultant) and you will be expected to take on some general HSE functions. In addition, you will assist in gathering information and intelligence on potential new opportunities for the Company. You will work along side senior technical and commercial personnel, who will support and mentor you in your role and as you progress you will be expected to take on more tasks and responsibilities.
